Graham Wright,
baritone

A
relative newcomer to the Boston area, Graham has found himself in
increasing demand in the New England musical community. Mr. Wright has
been a soloist with the Boston Pops, Paul Madore Chorale, and the
Reading Symphony among others.
A versatile performer, he has
appeared as Dr. Malatesta in Don Pasquale, Escamillo in Carmen, Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd, Aeneas in Dido and
Aeneas, Mr. Goldbury in Utopia, Ltd., the Pirate King in Pirates of
Penzance and as Tim Johnson in a world
premier of Charles Shadle's opera Coyote's
Dinner.

Graham debuted with Lowell Opera
Company this season singing the
Toreador song from Carmen with the Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra in the
November Romanza program. His
performance as Belcore in the
June 2005
production of Elixir of Love
was one of the highlights of the show.
Praised for his vocal power, comedic sense and commanding stage
prescence, his Belcore was
beautifully sung.
Mr. Wright can be heard on the
soundtrack of the National
Film Preservation
Foundation's critically
acclaimed DVD collection: More Treasures from the American Film
Archive.
