Lowell Opera Company has a variety of
volunteer opportunities for people who want to become involved with the
company.
Administration
Opportunities to assist
with publicity, grant writing, fund raising, general office
administration, website development to name just a few.
Hospitality
For the cabaret series in
particular but for all programs where some food and /or beverages are
served coordinators are needed to set up, serve, collect money and
clean up. For the cabaret series menu planning and food preparation is
also required.
Ushers
Seating patrons,
distributing programs and ticket sales at the door.
Set design/construction
For the fully staged
productions we need visual design assistance and those who are handy
with tools to construct the sets for Elixir of Love.
Stage crew
Setting up the sets,
changing them, developing prop lists and coordinating the securing of
those props, breaking down the set at the end of the program.
Production crew
We have a number of
student helpers assisting us with lighting, videography, sound, etc.
but would love to have more help in these areas.
